Before accessing the Trial Center, confirm you meet eligibility requirements:
Step 2: Accessing the Trial Center
On the SHEIN App:
- Open the SHEIN app and log in
- Tap “Me” icon in bottom right corner
- Scroll to “More Services”
- Under “Other Services,” tap “Free Trial Center”
On the SHEIN Website:
- Log into your account on SHEIN.com
- Click your profile name/icon (top right)
- Navigate to “More Services”
- Click “Other Services”
- Select “Free Trial Center”

Step 3: Understanding application windows
Application Limit: Apply for up to 3 products per week. This resets every 7 days.
Product Availability: Items appear with countdown timers showing application windows.
Strategic Timing: Products just added typically have fewer applicants. Check daily—ideally early morning.
Step 4: Browsing and selecting products
Available products display:
- Product image and name
- Original price (for reference)
- “$0.00” trial price indicator
- Countdown timer
- Number of current applicants
Selection Strategy:
- Match Your Interests: Only apply for products you’ll genuinely use and review thoroughly
- Consider Competition: Items with 5,000 applicants have lower approval odds than those with 500
- Category Diversity: Mix high-end electronics with accessories or fashion items to improve approval rates
Step 5: Submitting your application
- Click on the product to view details
- Read specific requirements
- Click “Free Trial” button
- Select your size or product variant
- Confirm your shipping address
- Click “Submit”
Your status will show as “Pending” under “My Applications.”
Step 6: Tracking your application
Check Application Status:
- Go to Trial Center
- Click “My Free Trial”
- View all pending and approved applications
Notification Methods:
- Email to registered address
- Push notification via SHEIN app
- Status update in Trial Center
Processing Time: Expect to hear back within 3-7 days.
Step 7: If you’re approved
Shipment Process: SHEIN generates your order automatically. Tracking number arrives within 24-48 hours.
Delivery Timeline: Standard SHEIN delivery times (typically 7-15 business days).
Review Countdown Starts: Your 10-day window begins the day you receive the item, not when you’re approved.
Step 8: Submitting your review
Access Review Submission:
- Log into SHEIN account
- Go to Free Trial Center
- Click “My Free Trial”
- Find your approved item
- Click “Upload” or “Submit Review”
Required Components:
- Written review (minimum length requirements)
- Minimum of 4 clear, original photos
- Honest assessment covering quality, fit/functionality, and value
- Specific details relevant to product category
Photo Requirements:
- Original photos only (no website images)
- Clear focus and good lighting
- Show product details, fit, and in-use context
- No watermarks or editing that obscures the product
