Are you open to sharing feedback after trying a product?

The review that gets you selected
You’ve applied to the Trial Center. You’re waiting for approval. But here’s the reality: most applications get rejected not because of the account, but because applicants don’t understand what SHEIN truly values in feedback.
The difference between getting selected once and becoming a consistent Trial Center participant comes down to one thing: the quality of your reviews. SHEIN doesn’t need another “Great product, love it!” comment. They need actionable, detailed feedback that helps them make business decisions.
Why your review matters to SHEIN
Before we dive into review techniques, understand SHEIN’s perspective. When they send you a product, they’re investing in data collection. Your review serves multiple purposes:
Product Quality Assessment: Is this item worth keeping in inventory? Should materials be upgraded? Are there defects in the production process?
Customer Experience Prediction: Will other customers be satisfied? What questions might they have? What surprises them—good or bad—about the product?
Marketing Intelligence: How do customers describe this item? What benefits do they highlight? What language resonates with the target audience?
Your review isn’t just content for the product page. It’s business intelligence that influences inventory, pricing, and marketing decisions across the platform.
The visual component: photos that matter
SHEIN provides guidelines, but here’s what actually makes a review valuable:
Specificity over generalities
Bad: “The shirt fits well and looks nice.” Good: “True to size in the bust and shoulders. The medium fit my 36C frame perfectly. Fabric has a slight stretch that accommodates movement without clinging.”
Bad: “Headphones sound great.” Good: “Clear audio at 60-70% volume. Bass is present but not overpowering. Bluetooth paired instantly with my iPhone 13. Battery lasted 4 hours of continuous use before needing a charge.”
Notice the difference? Specific details create trust and actually help other shoppers make decisions.
Honest assessment of flaws
SHEIN values honesty over praise. If something doesn’t work well, say so—but explain why and for whom it might still work.
“The charging cable feels slightly flimsy at the connector point. It works fine for bedside charging where it won’t be moved frequently, but I wouldn’t recommend it for throwing in a bag daily.”
This type of feedback helps SHEIN identify quality issues while still acknowledging potential use cases. You’re not just complaining—you’re providing context.
The 10-day deadline
You have exactly 10 days after receiving your item to submit your review. Miss it, and you risk:
Set a calendar reminder the day you receive your item.
After you submit
Standard Review (20 SHEIN Points): Meets minimum requirements.
Quality Review (100 SHEIN Points Bonus): Exceeds expectations with detailed, helpful content.
Quality reviews signal you’re a valuable contributor, which improves future approval rates.
The commitment question
Are you committed to providing detailed, honest feedback? If yes, you’re ready to learn how to join and submit your first application.
